Pexmas goes to SW1

Sunday 15 Sept, 3-6pm

Limited Edition Pexmas Teas and Traders

With WRONG For HAY, Peckham Refreshment Rooms and London Design Week

Good Morning Friends! What are you up to this fine Sunday?

Well we are off to SW1 for an impromptu pop up afternoon in a suprising location. We’re bringing a limited edition afternoon tea, Peckham style, with all your favourite pexmas treats: Brickhouse Peckham rye bread, Gringa Dairy Cheese, Brownie Bar Sweet Tooth cakes and Annascafe adornments. All inspired by Peckham’s 18th Century rep as market garden nirvana – grapes, figs and melons on every local plot. Who’d’ve thunk it? Only 20 teas available, and only £10 each. Bargainous. And if you can’t manage a whole one, there are extra brownie bites on offer…

And because every outing is more fun with friends, we’re taking some of our favourite items, from some of our favourite Pexmas traders, to create a tiny pop up market stall of lushness; a mini Pexmas Preview. With goodies from Captured on the Rye, Rye Books, Modern Folk, Peckham Jerk, Flock and Herd, Gourmandising and Garudio Studiage, we’ve got your sunday shopping sorted. All made in or inspired by Peckham, and a great taster for our Festive Market on 7/8 and 14/15 Dec.

The Background: WRONG for HAY has teamed up with the critically acclaimed Peckham Refreshment Rooms to create a destination pop-up restaurant for the 2013 London Design Festival. On offer will be drinks together with charcuterie, fine cheeses and viennoiserie. The former St. Stephen’s Club and terrace overlooking St James’s Park will incorporate both WRONG for HAY and HAY furniture and tableware to make a unique design and gastronomic destination.
